The Law Is Intent to Be a Mirror of Perfection
The word perfectionism is not in those two examples, i wanted to appeal to a couple of examples based upon scripture that will help the listener attach the idea in a biblical context. The original ruler and the fire of the scribes and pharisees as well? It's the same thing the perfectionist does.
