I think how I originally got introduced to your writing and the favorite thing that you've written was this post on the life calendar, which put a human lifespan in very visual terms. You even took it a step further by counting all the Super Bowls you thought you had left in your life pizzas and Chinese takeout. It's incredible how often, how bad we are because we're not really programmed by evolution to be good at that. We're pretty naturally inclined to zoom way in on today and on this week and on these little petty things going on. When none of that actually matters.
