The Importance of Fostering
I was fostered first, while there was a decision of what was best for my future. My mum adopted me in the 40s and I would always challenge her about why she did it. And then when I went up to high school all of a sudden, all these other schools kind of merged as they do is going to the hospital. And then all of a suddenly, the pointing, the name calling, kids pulling their eyes down towards me, just laughing at me. That's when I started to, my differences weren't cool anymore. It wasn't able to brag about my hearing aid or my ears and make a joke about my mum going to theospital and choosing me.
