The Illusion of Truman
The movie does a lot of cool setting up little mysteries, raising questions and the audience's mind. Those are paid off fairly quickly only as new things are being introduced. And I think it's really masterfully done where it's like nothing keeps your attention or demands that you sustain the mystery in your own mind for so long. It would logically like dismantle them so quickly were it not for the fairy scene.
