Gerard: I think when I left my former path I was just wanted nothing to do with creating a job for myself anything that even reeked of a job but I saw a lot of people around me basically create jobs for themselves. He says there is some merit to going down a more traditional path for a time to learn and then sometimes there's a time for everything like he published with the traditional publisher his first book and I learned a ton.
