S3E2 - Heracles Pt. 2 - The Twelve Labors of Heracles

Greeking Out from National Geographic Kids

CHAPTER

Heracles and Diametes

Heracles followed the horses as they grazed and rested on a small peninsula by the sea. He decided to trap them there so that he could call them for the journey home later. Using his shield, his sword, and even his bare hands, she dug a canal at the base of the peninsula. The giant diametes saw what was happening and tried to track Heracles down. But after being battered with his club again and again, Sheacles pushed him towards the sea. His long legs wobbled and he fell to the ground along with a herd of very hungry, very angry carnivorous horses.
