You know, you can enter the us military as an officer if you have a college degree, so you have a higher promotional ceiling. The leadership in the military has direct command and control over the men and women that they are in charge of. Policing is an odd job. The leadership matters, and it matters a lot, particularly at the top. And see you've got this this paira military model of command and control that doesn't actually have command and control.
