The Empirical Glass Is Half Full, Not Half Empty
The empirical glass is half full, not half empty, even if there's a stick in it. The fact that you're sometimes right has huge implications. You can't go from local to global in my terminology because we know even if it's global, we can continue to make this local distinction between error and non-error. And so he's saying, stop pissing a money about how you can be wrong and you're not certain about being right.
