How to Stop a Teen's Self-Hass on Instagram
Tony Roberts is suing the parent company of Instagram. He says his daughter copied a video that was sent to her from a friend and posted it online. Nearly a year and a half after England's death that hanging video was still circulating on Instagram with at least 1500 views. Meta declined our request for an interview but their global head of safety gave us this statement telling us we want teens to be safe online. And that Instagram doesn't allow content promoting self-harm or eating disorders.
