Pastor, Why Did You Come?

When the pastor comes to the hospital bed of a dying saint, and he comes through the door, he can see on her face she's surprised with joy that she was remembered. The answer that honors her is for him to say, there's no place i'd rather be right now. There'll be other time with the kids. And we want to be this vision of christian leadership. Want to be ministers like that who act not according to compulsion, not under compulsion, but willingly from the heart. Make us workers for the joy of our people. In jesus name, we pray, amen.
