Are You Just Talking About Unconditional Reality?
The Buddha said that this world is like a star at dawn. It's like a dream, like a bubble in a stream, like a mirage. Not as solid as we think it is. We don't notice that we're participating in a reification of our experience. That reification is another way of talking about conditioned existence. So rather than facing out, looking out to an objective world, including our ideas about ourself, which is in some sense objectifying ourself,. the turn, the critical turn, not only in Buddhism, but in contemplative traditions of all stripes, is to turn awareness around.
