Is Marx's Key Political Outlook or Strategy?

Marx's commitment to building the political autonomy of the working class. Not from a reformist or revolutionary standpoint but like endorsing things that seemingly reformist strategies because they advanced the greater goal of class autonomy. On one hand, and on the other, he's want to make things better for people. It kind of mirrors this is like humanist scientific kind of aspects of his thinking right where it's like you in down times you want to be able to develop capabilities of the workingclass so that it will be able to successfully overthrow capitalism.
