The Future of Cycling Waxes
The melt points of waxes are going up. The risk is that if you just go to higher melt temp waxes, the waxes are more brittle at room temperature and then they flake off much faster. I would say it's a balancing act. Hot wax that's hot and shiny that attracts dirt is still giving you far superior performance than wet lubricant or any other type of lubricant.
