How to Use Inhaled Corticosteroids to Control Asthma
Inhaled corticosteroids such as flutechazone or budessinide are the most effective controller medication. Monotherapy carries an FDA warning of an increased risk of death, intubation, and hospitalization. The American Academy of Pediatrics states not to use combination long acting beta agonists inhaled corteroid as initial therapy for children.
