The Origin of Protons in the Universe
In like the blink of an eye, we've got quarks, but not yet protons. And so it's too hot for protons to form. If you heat up the whole universe, then protons sort of melt into their constituents. So that was the birth of hydrogen, 10 to the minus six seconds into the universe.
