The Importance of Parenting in Religious Life

Some American parents believe that they lose most of their influence over their children around the early teen years. But in most cases, those are cultural illusions belied by the sociological facts. The parent is now and almost for the whole lifespan, the most influential people in the religious lives of their children. And so our passage today gives us a way forward. It breaks into two clear halves. God's power in parenting and second, God's purpose in parenting.
