Catherine is a two-parter. The survivors, except for one, are sickly children. They've got week-longs, the boys have sores, and fits of dementia that may have been from congenital syphilis. But while marriage isn't easy, neither is jousting. Catherine sincerely mourned the old king. He taught her a lot about regal style and helped inspire her love of architecture and art.
