The Evolution of Darwinism
Darwin's observations impaled him to rescind earlier arguments that invoked the need for God to explain the order of nature. Science could get along quite well without God, or sword Darwinian social scientist thought. Post-Darwinian secular prophets are some of the same people who have found it necessary today to exchange such terms as Darwinian evolution and Darwinism for more innocuous terms like philosophical naturalism.
