The Importance of Political Philosophy

Cambridge University students will be able to listen in and get something out of it. We are not expecting anybody to have done any background reading. Every episode that introduces any major thinker is going to start with a Hopefully clear brief explanation of some of the main moving parts. If I give you a five minute version of Hobbes, that's going to be my versions of Hobbes because I can't give you everybody's version of Hobbeans in five minutes. But we will try to give you stuff that is bite sized and easy to manage.
