The Calabel: A Magical Pyramid of Steel
The Calabel is a tall and narrow pyramid of steel, uh, except hollow. So only the corners are these, like, four steel beams that come down with platforms ascending up between them. In the center of each steel platform is a circular disk of glass, or if it's crystal, it's a perfectly transparent crystal. The construction of the actual apparatus took approximately three and a half years.
