Is There an Acretion Disk Around the Black Hole?

Most black holes, because they are actively sucking stuff in, will have some kind of accretion disk. But right until we took this picture, we didn't know what was there exactly. Around this tiny little dot, superduper far away. I guess if it doesn't have a necretion tus, you could still see how it blocks the light that's coming from be behind it.
