What Spawned You to Write the Laws of Human Nature?
When your book 48 Laws of Power came out, it was banned in prisons. And when you published the 21 Laws of Human Nature, so I'd actually like to pull back and ask you a question that I've had for a long time with the books. In some ways, I felt like it was a reprieve of trying to offer back an alternative perspective that includes self-love and empathy. Yes, they do go together. A lot about power is being able to not trust appearances and realize that a lot of the power game involves deception and misdirection.
