The Conservative Party's Politics on the Abortion Issue

I have never seen a fundraising email go out from the conservative party in all my years of being involved around the abortion issue. So I think the politics of this for conservatives is really straightforward. You'll see some of that in nomination battles and leadership races, but even that will be very slight. And you'll see none of it in terms of a general election because the polling on it is just so overwhelmingly negative for those who are advocating hardcore pro-life positions. All of us, the swing voters that we're looking for in suburban Ontario that we're fighting to get the votes of are animated by the abortion issue just in the opposite direction.
