Is Russia Controlling the Information in Ukraine?

Russia is doing its best to control the flow of information in its own country. What about in ukraine? Does it have the capacity to control formation there by shutting down the intradet, for example? I think not directly, not yet. And that may be a question when and if russia does manage to subjugate the country. All this fighting and shelling in all these cities like mariupo, means large parts of ukraine don't have access to electricity. So cleary, there are ways for motivated individuals to get news of what's happening.
