Jesus wrapped this ancient story in flesh and came and lived among us he does not only invite us to climb out of the warehouse he tears the roof off of the warehouse and climbs down and lives among us. There's an even more incredible claim at the end of John's gospel than the one at the beginning it's that you and I can become fully alive in this fallen world. Don't just study this book don't only read this book eat it internalize it become it a living picture of the promised future in the messy present which was God's invitation when he folded a library of awestruck encounters into a single book.
