The Fall of the Hijaz Railway in the Middle East

For much of the first wold war, thomas edward lawrence was a british army colonel. He connived behind enemy lines to rupture what was really the spine of ottoman control in the middle east. Many of his beteran recruits also had a grudge of their own against the hicas line. The more militant amongst them considered briton's railway lines to be something of an iron spider's web ensnaring their land.
