How to Use JavaScript to Parse Form Data

There is a very useful JavaScript wrapper around the form data object. There are also some amazing and super easy to set up wrapper libraries that will just basically transparently parse your form data into whatever kind of object it's supposed to be. So you're using the web fundamentals under the hood, but not having to interact with them directly. But it still works because it's running it's all running on a server, right? It still works for for everyone.
