The Importance of Increasing Parliamentary Constituency Seats
We have decided as a nation that we will not reward states which are falling behind in population management policies. Uttar Pradesh has about an average of 25 lakh per cent per constituency, while Tamil Nadu has about 18.5 lakhs. And this is based on 2011 census by now, it's likely to have even deteriorated. So, there will need to be a political renegotiation of the way in which finances are distributed.
