Thetas and Achilles in the Trojan War
Thetas is famous for how she made her son invulnerable. She dipped him into water, either a boiling cauldron in her home or the river sticks itself. But even that bit of the story does not survive in ancient Greek sources. The only surviving sources detail Achilles' death come from the Roman period - Quintus Marnias wrote Fall of Troy.
