Hato Yama - The Happiest Town in Japan

Hato yama was named the Happiest Town in Japan by a company called Daito Trust. They spent three years talking to over 500,000 adults living in all of the nation's 1,183 municipalities. And what they did was they asked these respondents to sort of rate their happiness on a scale of one to ten. Their answers were then multiplied by ten and Hato yama scored 74.2 points.
