The Grey Zone Diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes
Working memory is one of the most prominent difficulties that come up on cognitive testing for type 1 diabetes. A lot of these issues are related to type 1 diabetes and unfortunately in this young woman I just don't think it's possible to to tease that out. She also has depression and anxiety and a number of those features when someone is experiencing a lot of symptoms of depression and anxiety can also create issues particularly with information processing and memory. We went through and talked about what this meant for her and certainly a pretty extensive feedback sheet with all really focusing on her strengthsWhat the areas of difficulty were and some compensator strategies.
