Apollo 13 - A Bad Number?
The first stage of the rocket is nearly spent. Hundreds of thousands of gallons of fuel have been burned, and it is now no more than a dead weight to be discarded. Two hours and 40 minutes after the launch, the crew are safely in orbit around the earth,. preparing to fire their engine once more, this time, to send the spacecraft on its way to the moon. But then, malfunction. One of the engines unexpectedly shuts down two minutes early, threatening the launch and leading to this exchange between the flight controllers monitoring the launch in mission control.
