The Politics of Social Security
Instead of letting people raid their 401Ks, let's let them draw against their social security benefits. That's a brilliant plan, particularly given that they're likely not be getting their social security retirement anyway. This would put pressure on the politicians to make sure the system continued functioning and it would allow people to opt out of it in a sense.
