Nilsodae grew up in crown heights, a scrappy housing development. His mother bought him an upright piano when he was just eight years old. Nilsodae's first introduction to music was turkish records his grandparents played at their friends' house. "I locked myself in the bathroom" is what nilsodae remembers of that experience.
