In chapter 24 of the Bible, Ezekiel prophesies about a massive deportation from Jerusalem to Babylon. He says that God wants us to have this kind of close relationship with him. If anyone is a rival between us and God, that thing is an idol,. We are committing adultery with the Lord, which is just devastating.
