Gemma: There's a lot you could do with a cleaner percher. At Shogun, our senior QA person is going to cross over and become a junior Ruby developer. She only knows Python. I expect to see some very Python like Ruby from her at first. But even like Kevin said, you're being really helpful to beginners. People coming from Python are using a specific pattern over and over again that works in its valid syntax in Ruby but isn't really a common pattern. We could definitely build tooling that would say something like, hey, this pattern is syntactically fine. This is a much better, more kind of Ruby pattern and make improvements from there. All
