Pushkin Square - The Russian Revolution
The faces of the people who came to Pushkin Square that evening reflected three main emotions, pain, fury and shame. The demonstration didn't last long because of the black uniforms of the right policemen. Almitted right police pushed protesters to the ground and threw them into vans. Some 1700 people were arrested that night, half of them in Moscow. Others had similar protests around the country.
