I think like after the, what, second year of twere, like, performing in europe, something about it just stopped being cute. I then had to really grapple with just all of it. What did it mean to be a performer who performed mostly outside of south africa, and who doesn't really perform here at home? You know, like, what does it means to be a yes, to be to be looked at, to be en from, to be am, to be affirmed, to be validated, to be celebrated, but not really seen?"
