You'll notice no syntax sugar in go. The mentality of the go community is to move slow and deliberately. And there's this aspect of discovery. We're looking for patterns that are going to help us to have fewer errors, more success developing correct programmes. So what's the story behind the adoption of the proverbs then? Is it the same kind of thing? Yes. But it took a lot longer for the go proverbs to come about.
