The Roosters - Clapton's Story
Clapton met the Beatles at an early rolling stone's gate. The Roosters have been blues purists, contemptuous of pop music. He liked to bend strings so he used very light gauge strings on his guitar which often broke. Two months after Clapton joined the group, Gamelsky got them to back Sonny Bo Williams in the second leg of a UK tour.
