What Is a Snood in the Turkey?
The first piece of writing I was ever paid for was a book review of a biography of Ben Franklin. The male turkeys the toms waggle their heads in such a way as to make the snoods dip dance dive and bedazzle little ladies. It's the turkey equivalent of a flocculant mustache it seems very much um to be uh precisely thatOkay Ed, this is the first time you've given me a trivia thing that i've actually got I just want to commend you all right.
