How do you draw the line? What's appropriate to share when you're meeting someone new? And then question number three is this idea of authentic and vulnerable conversations, especially as it relates to career conversations. Those are a hot topic and have been for the better part of 10 years. It doesn't necessarily always make sense to share everything with someone we just met.

One of the best ways to gain momentum during your career search is to reach out to employees at the company you want to work for, specifically key decision-makers. This will allow you to stand out among the sea of 500-1,000+ applications. When you go to make these connections, there are some simple, yet overlooked, strategies that are very effective to not only receive a response when doing this deliberate networking, but all get a response that could propel you into the role you are aiming for.
