Is Social Media Taking Over Politics?
I think their success is on the back of the rise of social media, in the ability of these fringe elements to fake it. It's not a model of behavior that i think any well socialized person would actually try to try to model themselves after in public. They certainly do it on the inrnet. Sometimes with conspiracies, s at least some truth to it that they just twist and an kind of make into some compelling narrative that they know will get clicks in engagement. Not even a morsel of truth.
