Chemistry is really complicated to simulate because we live with in a world made of synthetic and natural products. To calculate the properties of a molecule requires solving the Schrodinger equation. When you have a quantum computer you can do those calculations in a way that is exact so you can have complete confidence in it. We're doing molecular discovery at the moment is a little bit like being in a pitch dark cave with a blindfold on flailing around trying to find this wealth of opportunity.
