After Niger's Coup, the Drums of War Are Growing Louder
The Economist published an article titled After Niger's coup, the drums of war are growing louder. It is a complete pro-Western mouthpiece that pushes right-wing neoliberal economics and hawkish foreign policy. The fact that they acknowledge this reality of popular support for the military government in Niger and by extension other West African nations is very important because it shows that this is something that cannot be denied even by what are essentially Western propaganda outlets.
