The Importance of Disclosure to Your Employer
You have signed a contract and you are bound by that contract, whether or not we agree with the semantics of it. Do I agree that only fans should have any implication in your professional capabilities? Not at all. But I do believe that there is also contractually a right that your employer has to protect their image in the way that they see fit. It's a murky line on where that sits in terms of discriminatory or not. You deserve somewhere that's going to champion you in the same way that that's what I said.
