The Importance of Documentation in the Private Sector
I think the thing that security teams, in fact, probably any IT organization does the worst is document their procedures. It's very hard to get a certification or pass an audit without documentation. I would say incentivize you to document. The there I would offer the compliance frameworks, be it ISO or NIST.
