The Importance of Money in the World
Money is a socially fabricated fiction that we all collectively choose to believe in because it generally motivates prosocial behavior. Without money, the whole system, which has now become a global network with billions of interconnections, falls apart. The only way this could ever happen without money on this planet is through the threat of violence or indirect ostracization.
