If IT defines their success as, if I'm able to enable analytics engineers in 20 of my departments and still be secure, my productivity has become 24. If you actually are able to empower the example that I tell some team members is WhatsApp or Instagram when they are acquired by Facebook for like billions of dollars, like 20 people. There was a lot that of an empowered, focused, purpose driven set of 10 people can do. You probably get more work done with lesser number of people and lesser teams if you architected whether.
