The Life and Times of Xenophon
Xenophon was a student of Socrates but he's never considered one of the great students of Socrates that would obviously be Plato. Xenophon writes in a very simplistic Greek which makes it great to study and of course schoolboys this is a great adventure story so you can see why they obviously picked it. It kind of has this idea of low literature really dismissive, not helped by his own reputation. That's enough rambling on for me well he'll be back in another episode we recorded two days later to talk through another ancient history topic.
